Youth Contingent at the Peoples Climate March

Key details

Our generation faces a broken political system, racism, inequality, bleak job prospects, student debt, and a world threatened by wildfires, superstorms, famine, and drought. For decades, polluters and the politicians in their pockets have been gambling away our future for short-term profits. Now, greedy billionaires and fossil fuel cronies hold the highest political offices in the United States. Our planet and our democracy are in peril.

But young people are fighting back. In every corner of the country, we are already leading the fight to defend our right to a livable, prosperous future. On April 29, our generation will join the movement marching in the streets of DC to demand a safe and livable climate, an economy that provides sustainable jobs, and justice for all.

It’s our time to lead. Join the youth contingent at the 2017 People’s Climate March to make sure our generation’s voices are heard. We are gathering at the corner of 3rd and Pennsylvania NW at 11AM – RSVP and Invite others here.
